The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has released instructions regarding invitations to apply for permanent residence under the Express Entry System. In the latest round of invitations on August 27, 2024, the Canadian Experience Class saw 3,300 invitations issued. Candidates needed a rank of 3,300 or above and a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 507 to be considered. In case of a tie, the cut-off was determined based on when individuals submitted their Express Entry profiles.
The guidelines established by Minister Marc Miller define ‘eligible foreign national’ as one whose interest is established in the express entry pool. These individuals are ranked and could receive an invitation based on their rank within the group. A total of 3,300 such invitations could be issued during the period from August 27 to August 28, 2024.
